TrueLevel exists because the car wash chemical business is still being run on clipboards, drum markings, and Saturday-morning emergency calls. Every operator knows the drill: you walk to the chemical room, eyeball a tank, guess whether you'll make it through the weekend, and reorder from memory. Every distributor knows it too: you drive between customer sites checking drums by hand, type up service reports on Sunday, and build orders from your head.
Nobody has real numbers. Nobody can tell you cost-per-car with any confidence. Nobody knows which site is burning through product 2x faster than the others and why. The software we've all been handed wasn't built for this — it's generic inventory software bolted onto a car wash context, or legacy tools from the 2000s that nobody wants to touch.
We built TrueLevel because we were the ones running chemicals from memory. We got tired of it.
